• Working in one of the core development teams of GetThere a corporate travel reservation system for Travel Managers, Business Travelers, and Travel Consultants, owned by Sabre Travel Solutions (global business-to-business travel marketplace and consists primarily of Sabre global distribution system (GDS) and a broad set of solutions that integrate with the GDS). Serving millions of business travellers in over 100 countries, GetThere is the industry's most sophisticated and reliable online travel management solution.
• Development of new features involving complex business logic to provide the best fare to the customers, optimizing pricing and booking of airfare, using REST API to provide richer content to the user which is estimated to add around 250,000 USD of additional revenue to the product. Involving tools and technologies like Java, GIT, TDD, and Junit.
• Migrated the entire application from Adobe Web Analytics to Amplitude Web Analytics involving migration of old and the creation of new events and properties that can capture useful insights from user behavior.
• Created a seamless experience for customers to redirect to GetThere - a corporate booking tool for their corporate travel from Google flights, bridging the gap between Google flights shopping experience and GetThere's state-of-the-art pricing and booking solutions.
• Migrated Spring boot services to Google Cloud Platform in a development environment with an end-to-end CI/CD pipeline, deployment to Kubernetes pods and Veracode compliance.
• Successfully migrated major applications and services from Oracle JDK to OpenJDK in Dev and QA environment.
