• Lead a team with engineers in 2 different roles. One of them is a group of 18 engineers that provide technical support to Engineered Systems customers across 4 distinctive products namely Exalogic (middleware machine), Exalytics (Business Analytics machine), Private Cloud Appliance (Cloud infrastructure machine) and Big Data Appliance (Machine that offers big data services). Second group of 8 Customer Incident Managers (CIMs) that are responsible for process knowledge sharing with all Engineered Systems customers including other ES products such as Exadata, Super Cluster, ODA in addition to above 4 products. CIMs are also responsible for escalation management and internal process improvements. Technical support organization is a full customer facing organization and all the 18 engineers + 8 CIMs directly interact with External customers who are running into problems/issues using our Engineered system product stack. These external customers spread across various countries globally and my team is primarily responsible for APAC and EMEA customers, while we continue to handle critical work from AMER region as well thus supporting those customers also and these customers are spread across various industries such as finance, telecom, automobile, etc. All these customers use the products for enterprise applications. The role includes leading the team w.r.t all responsibilities such as hiring, training, operations, quality, performance, and improve efficiency as well as guide and lead team to excel at organization goals and ensure higher customer service.
