• Worked on a product to identify fraudulent behavior of its users. Basically the idea was build a pluggable android sdk to identify the fraud users who used a single device to sign up multiple times and access offers/benefits meant for first time users by changing hardware identifiers (imei, advertiser id) of phone. Built a real time api to process data and assign a risk score for a new signup.

• Taken up as a freelance project, implemented search backend for Qiosk.com website using elasticsearch and nodejs.
• Created an end to end system from ingestion to indexing to a simple REST api (which in turn talks to actual elasticsearch nodes). Search was for different entities (people, article, tags, etc). Apart from basic text query, ranking was based on dynamic fields like #likes, how old the article is to return the most relevant results.

• Worked on Preppo : a current affairs / quiz app to help preparation for Indian Govt jobs like IBPS, Bank PO, etc.
• Also implemented (in beta) a real time doubt solving platform to connect with teachers on our platform who then used virtual whiteboard and phone call to solve the math/aptitude question doubts. Used Firebase realtime datbase for managing student/teacher online presence and sending/receiving draw events for whiteboard.
