Ayush Garg — Software Engineer

I’m an incoming Software Engineer at Google, with a strong interest in backend systems, infrastructure, and building things that scale well and last long. Previously, I interned at Amazon, CRED, Google, and MeitY, where I contributed to a range of production systems across cloud infrastructure, internal platforms, and e-commerce flows: At CRED, I was part of the Data Platforms team, where I worked on building the Unified Data Platform (UDP) to help standardize and simplify how teams access and use data internally. During my internship at Google, I worked with the Private Service Connect team on internal tooling and infra improvements. At Amazon, I worked on the Cross-Border Returns team, building components that simplified return experiences and enhanced developer experience while building systems. I enjoy designing clean APIs, working on backend infra, and solving tough problems — whether it’s through system design or competitive programming (I’m rated Expert on Codeforces 🔵). Outside of work, I like mentoring juniors, simplifying complex codebases, and learning how different systems are built at scale.
