I'm a data nerd and a LinkedIn... something. At Netflix, I’m a People Analytics Partner helping leaders make better calls about talent, org design, and workforce strategy. I like building data products that actually get used, and I’ve spent a lot of time thinking about what makes a dashboard useful. (Hint: it’s not more filters.) Before this, I spent almost a decade at Google building tools to make people data clearer and dashboards less painful. The goal’s always been the same - help smart people focus on what matters and grow great analysts along the way. I grew up in Kersey, Pennsylvania, a no-stoplight town with more deer than people. My mom ran the local Walmart and my dad sold cars. Now my mom and I run Cookies Worth Sharon, a small-batch cookie company we started together. Life’s taken a few turns since then - I’m a dad, a two-time cancer survivor, and still convinced a well-timed joke can move mountains. Most days you’ll find me in SQL, chasing my dogs and daughter, or trying to make a dent in my video game backlog. I post about analytics, dashboards, work culture, and the occasional corporate absurdity.
