• Large scale usage analysis of R in the wild.
• Analysed usage of R’s dynamic features from a large corpora of R code (12K+ pkgs) to inform language development for compiler optimisations. It involved constructing static & dynamic probes, and visualising the data in an R markdown. Also used MapReduce to scale up for multiple cores and support concurrency, achieving around 20x speedup.
