Charles Brindamour — CEO

Charles Brindamour is Chief Executive Officer of Intact Financial Corporation. Intact is the largest provider of property and casualty insurance in Canada and has successfully exported its strengths across North America, the UK and Europe. Its growing commercial and specialty solutions network now spans over 150 countries. Under Charles’ leadership, Intact’s strategy is anchored in its purpose and values and a belief that it can be a force for good – all while outperforming the industry by a wide margin in service and profitability. This strategy is supported by a well-defined leadership model based on genuine care for people, the ability to create an open and honest environment, having a can-do attitude and a constant drive to challenge the status quo. Mr. Brindamour is a graduate of Université Laval in Actuarial Science and an Associate of the Casualty Actuarial Society. In May 2019, Mr. Brindamour received an honorary PhD from HEC Montréal. He is a board member of Intact Financial Corporation, the Geneva Association, the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce, and the Business Council of Canada. Outside of work, Charles enjoys running, reading, fly fishing and martial arts.
