•  Automated and institutionalized the company’s inventory norming process (optimum level of cycle stock, safety stock, lead times etc.) for each liquor brand type, subject to demand/supply fluctuations in all states of India with a focus on Haryana and Maharashtra
•  Formulated a 3-stage inventory norming strategy involving calculation of current inventory norm parameters (using monthly forecast, actual sales data, production data etc.), a monthly check for inventory norm compliance and a bi-annual inventory norming process review
• Distributor Mapping and Freight Optimization:
•  Developed an optimized distributor mapping model (using Premium Solver Pro) for Maharashtra (having 6 factories, 21 distributors, 2 bonds with a variety of products) minimizing costs, subject to demand/capacity constraints, volume targets, factory shut downs etc.
•  IMPACT: Designed the distribution allocation plan using the model to reduce the overall distribution cost by INR 16 million annually
