• A WordPress site goes down. The phone rings. The client is upset. Someone says a plugin update broke it. Someone else says hosting changed something. Someone on the team “just made a small change”. And the worst part? WordPress itself won’t even load, so there’s no real way to see what actually happened. No timeline. No source of truth. Just guesswork, screenshots, and blame being passed around while the site is already broken. We’ve been on all sides of this — blamed for issues we didn’t cause, struggling to explain incidents we couldn’t clearly prove, even breaking our own sites and wishing there was a reliable record of what led to it. That’s why we built Incident. Not another activity log. Not just uptime monitoring. Incident records critical site incidents and high-risk changes and keeps that history outside WordPress, so it’s still there when wp-admin isn’t.
