Eventually, I transitioned into lecturing at Manchester College, where I discovered a passion for helping others achieve their goals. From there, I opened a training centre, upskilling people for careers in companies like Siemens, OVO, and Octopus. It grew quickly — 75 staff, three locations, and recognition as Training Provider of the Year with an Outstanding OFSTED rating. After seven years, I sold the business, but I wasn’t ready to stop there. I started Career Street to solve the problems I’d seen firsthand in recruitment.
