My career is shaped by one simple belief: finance is most powerful when it brings clarity to chaos. I began my journey in 2007 in Nigeria, far from home and far from comfort, where I was handed a small branch with operational challenges. Strengthening controls, uncovering fraud, and restored operational discipline shaped my approach early that numbers are only as strong as the discipline behind them. As I moved across larger business units and later into manufacturing, I learned to run finance not as a back-office function but as an operational engine. A turning point came when I worked directly with the Group CEO. Designing daily dashboards across factories elevated my perspective on scale, accountability, and decision-making. Later, stabilising a flour mill JV implementing Oracle, building SOPs, designing audit frameworks cemented my belief that systems and teams can transform outcomes when aligned well. After returning to India, I rebuilt my family’s loss making retail business into a profitable one. That phase grounded me in ownership and grit in a way corporate roles never could. Since 2021, I’ve been back in corporate strengthening FP&A, managing large P&Ls, driving cost savings, automating reporting, and shaping governance. At Ujjivan, this led to two rapid promotions. Today at UDS, I’m focused on centralising AP, strengthening internal audit governance, and driving the organisation toward a unified ERP driven future. Across manufacturing, retail, banking, and services, my goal has stayed constant: build financial systems, teams, and processes that enable leaders to act with clarity, confidence, and speed.
