• 1. Developed multiple platforms and services for requesting a fact-check, fact-checking social media claims, publishing a fact-check, Twitter bot, and search engine for fact-checks and news,
• 2. I was among the initial members to join the team and am responsible for creating and optimizing the REST APIs and writing optimized queries for querying large data sets.
• 3. Implemented users and flags search, sorting, filtering, and API requirements using Elasticsearch and set up the pipeline for updating the Elasticsearch data using AWS ​​DynamoDB Streams triggers.
• 4. Created 40+ scrappers for crawling data from different sources using Python Beautiful Soup, Scrapy, and Selenium.
• 5. Developed the Quiz and fact-checking tool widgets and services that our content partners are using on their websites, also worked on externalizing the services for our partners.
• 6. Set up the self-learning model of our Twitter Bot.
• 7. Created different microservices (image generation, intent detection, email notification) to optimize the architecture.
