Dr. Sriram Mansingh recived his B.Sc (2nd Rank), M.Sc and M.Phil (1st Rank) from Utkal University,India. Then, he completed his Ph.D degree from the Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan (Deemed to be University) Bhubaneswar, India under the guidance of Prof. Kulamani Parida. Dr. Mansingh has made marvelous contribution in the advancement of Materials Chemistry and guiding young research minds. He is a pioneer to explore the chemistry behind the core properties related to suppressed charge recombination process and enhanced the photo catalytic activities and quantum yield. He holds strong idea on designing new multi-functional materials based on oxides, nitrides, phosphides, sulphides, quantum dots for nano-heterostructures, p-n heterojunctions, isotype and Z-scheme/S-scheme oriented systems exhibiting outstanding activities for solar water splitting, H2O2 generation, N2 reduction, and organic/inorganic pollutant remediation. His in-depth knowledge to correlate structural, morphological, optical, electronic, and electrochemical properties of the designed materials with artificial photosynthesis can be easily accessed from his number of publication and citation index. Dr. Mansingh has hand on experience on various characterization instruments like X-Ray Diffractometry, UV-VIS-DRS, FTIR, Photoluminescence, Gas Chromatography, High-temperature programmable muffle and tubular furnace, and Potentiostat. Till now he has published one patent and ~50 research articles in various peer reviewed high impact journals of ACS, RSC, and Elsevier publication. The important and current relevance of his work is amply reflected in large number of citations 2600+ and h-index-30 in google scholar. He has also reviewed many journal articles from ACS, Springer, Elsevier, etc. and serving as a guest editor for Frontiers in Chemistry for a special issue.
