• I joined Microsoft as part of the acquisition of Wunderlist and served in several roles during the integration of the team into Microsoft, including:

• This position gave me a front row seat to the challenges of the integration an acquisition of a small startup into a large enterprise and provided many lessons in a changing and dynamic leadership environment.

• Worked as a software architect and developer in a flat engineering organization across multiple technologies and platforms, including:
• Android, iOS, and macOS clients
• Backend immutable microservices written in Ruby on Rails, Go, Scala, Clojure, Haskell, and Node.js and heavily utilizing RabbitAMQP based message queues.
• The pride of our team's software development efforts was creating a real time service architecture that encapsulated HTTP requests over Websockets allowing changes of data on one client to immediately be broadcasted to all other active clients, whether of the same user or of collaborators.
• I also was a key member for 6Wunderkinder's team handling the confidential technical due diligence process for the acquisition by Microsoft. This comprised about 6 months of effort due to the broad use of technologies in our services.

• I was a part of the photo team and the lead stage photographer for TED, including TED, TEDGlobal, TEDWomen, and TEDIndia. Working with TED's creative team, I helped refine the signature look and feel of TED's photography and, at the end of my tenure, helped a successive generation of photographers take over my role and make it their own.
