• Worked as a consultant on agile teams developing enterprise web applications in the financial services and telecommunications sectors.
• Architech placed a strong emphasis on cross functional teams and vertical slicing of features. As a result, my development responsibilities ranged from database schema design to the presentation layer. Typically technologies involved MySQL, Hibernate, Solr, Spring MVC, and Twitter Bootstrap.
• An equally strong emphasis was placed on focusing on lean methodologies and delivering a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) to clients in an effort to keep tight feedback loops and encourage small product iterations that delivered maximum value to clients and end-users.
• This culture enabled me to develop skills with AWS, Scalr, Thucydides, Jenkins, Saucelabs, Chef, Vagrant, Mercurial, Git and a number of other technologies that enabled BDD, CD, CI, and ATDD.
• One of my notable achievements was developing an open-source crawler called Marcelinus. The tool is Selenium WebDriver based and integrates with Saucelabs to provide cloudified multi-browser/multi-platform parallel crawling of static web pages. It was developed to meet a specific client requirement and continues to grow as new features are requested.

• Worked as a Sr. Java developer on all layers of the application (i.e., database, framework, and UI).
• ScrumMaster for team of 6 developers and QA members.
• Designed and implemented a feature called the Advanced Policy Engine which enabled Nexpose (Rapid7's flagship product) to enter the federal market by becoming SCAP certified.
• Main responsibilities included database design and implementation for multi-tenanted architecture. As well as design and implementation of the domain objects and business logic for importing and persisting all data required to perform SCAP policy scans from within Nexpose.
• Refactored the database and source code to support IPv6 and enable Nexpose to continue to expand into the enterprise market.
• Other notable achievements include implementing a new installer for Nexpose, which improved the first-time user experience and dramatically increased the number of product registrations.

• Responsibilities include designing and implementing various projects, each with a distinct set of requirements and technologies.
• Expert in the area of device metrics. This area constantly requires innovative solutions to performance problems related to the management of millions of persisted device metrics.

• Created numerous in-house tools for improving efficiency during development. One example is a Clearcase tool which allows developers to use a single tool to perform all version control exercises, including updating problem reports and notifying team members automatically via email, among numerous other features.
