• Founded Magnify Ventures to serve as an investment vehicle to fund Nexford University. Successfully led a 6-month planning project conducting in-depth market analysis to fully understand the online education space worldwide. Surveyed students, faculty and employers worldwide to understand gaps that exist in the current higher education marketplace. Based on research results and in collaboration with renowned online education experts we completed a business plan which has now been fully funded. Our seed funding was used to fund Nexford University's launch. Magnify is not a VC nor is it actively fundraising or investing in other ventures.

• As a board member my role is to assess as well as help drive the business direction and strategy. After having co-founded the agency and managed it for 5 years I've gained an in-depth understanding of SOCIALEYEZ itself as well as the MENA digital industry. As a board member I am involved in reviewing and approving company budgets and financials, recruitment of senior positions including compensation schemes, and setting the appropriate governance structures.

Created and managed implementation of growth strategy, managed profitability, worked closely with key clients, worked closely with creative teams, drove innovation within the agency as well as on the client side. Designed and implemented multiple award winning digital strategies across multiple countries. Played key role in growing agency from day 1 with 2 people to over 100 today.

• Co-founded and managed the MENA region's largest social media monitoring & analysis agency. At the time SOCIALEYEZ was the first specialized social media agency in the MENA region. Helped establish offices around the MENA region as well as Latin America.

• Co-created group holding company to consolidate various existing subsidiaries. News Group as an entity did not exist when I joined, rather the group was operating through various subsidiaries, some startups and some more mature fast growing organizations all in the media intelligence & technology field. Played a lead role in bringing corporate discipline and structure to the various subsidiaries, designed and implemented HR, finance and technology strategies which enabled the next phase of accelerated growth across the group. Played a key role in geographic expansion for back office support purposes as well as commercial growth. Introduced new technologies to help the business increase automation. Group grew by several hundred employees during this phase, multiple markets.
