• Project Description: Trade Record Information Management System
• Trade Record Information Management System (TRIMS) is used for Trade Processing in GTS (Global Transaction Services) of Citigroup.
• Responsibilities
• 1. Part of the core development team providing quality code for functional enhancement and support to Trade Finance product of the world's largest bank.
• 2. Analysed, developed and migrated one of the most complex modules of the project into Struts 2 framework to address the end of life (EOL) of Struts 1 framework and its depreciation with Spring 3 framework.
• 3. Escalated critical issues during development and helped improvise effective solutions to technical leads, abiding quality results and minimal bugs.
• 4. Part of the UX redesign development team, worked on providing a quality and fresh user interface with more interactive dynamic web page for easy processing of transactions.
• 5. Implemented jQuery Easyui and DWR java library API(Easy Ajax for java) in order to make a faster and dynamic web page to address the need for performance and improved turnaround time for processing each transaction.
• 6. Implemented CSRF(Cross-site Request Forgery) protection, in order to strengthen security within the application.
