Many people ask me what the name Ai Bee means. It's an interesting story. In the late 60's when my grandpa Immanual Bhagyan went to register his Steel Factory as IB Streel Crafts, he was told that someone else had already taken that name. Not the man to be dejected, he went the next day and said, I want to register the company with the same name, but this time, as Ai Bee Steel Crafts.
A week later, his registration was done.
Fast forward 60 years, AI takes on a completely different meaning in 2025. But for me, it stands for the spirit of a man who refused to give up. He proudly ran his business till the 80's when he passed away. The factory eventually closed down.
Ai Bee Social is two-pronged. We are an AI-layered agency. Our copy, artwork, captions, reels, video edits all happen via various AI tools and platforms. The output is still top-notch, while the cost of doing that stays within reason.
The BEE is something we are fascinated with - highly efficient, focused, organized, vigilent and super hard working. I thought, now these are the values I want the team I build to carry with them.
That's how I made it into my own version of Ai Bee. I believe with all my heart that my grandpa must be looking down right now and saying, "...now there's a smart man right there". For this, I would tell him, "this is how I want to remember and honor your memory".
