• As an engineering manager in Homeaway I was part of an organization (Global Accelerator Platform) which was more of a horizontal than vertical. This gave me a good experience of working with a large number of teams which were in different time zones. I managed a team of 12 engineers of which 2 pods of 3 were remotely located.
• EMEA Brand Consolidation: The goal of this project was to consolidate homeaway acquired brands into homeaway brand. That would mean merging a non-homeaway website into homeaway. I lead the project successfully for first two regions Spain and Italy. As this project was encompassing whole website of Homeaway I had to coordinate with almost all engineering and business teams in homeaway to ensure project was delivered successfully. I also led the team in getting to the right solution which would be best for the end customer.

• Engage Enterprise : Engage is a secure and specialized multi-channel marketing enterprise solution. I lead and delivered the project for a real-time Facebook like notifications for online banking users.

• segmentation of users. Supports unique use cases like real time notification x mins after user drops off. Multi-channel marketing on channels like mobile push, website push, Facebook, programmatic, email and SMS.
• AdServing and Image Server: I managed a couple of 2 pizza teams while managing large scale ad serving platform and delivering various optimizations around it.
