Gowri Pratyusha Yerra — Intern
Hi, I’m Gowri 👋 I’m currently pursuing my MS in Computer Science at USC, where I focus on networks, distributed systems, and storage. I love solving problems at the systems level—whether it’s making distributed systems more reliable or optimizing storage performance. Along the way, I’ve worked with: Amazon Web Services (EC2, Summer 2025): Improved stress-test visibility globally by migrating a portal to Apollo and automating multi-region provisioning. IBM (2023- 24): Enhanced SAN storage with features like volume mobility, scalable IP handling, and robust service IP architecture. Huawei (2022 - 23): Built core NAS migration features for seamless cross-platform data transfer, and earlier as an intern, developed a log-based fault diagnosis system. I enjoy exploring how theory (like differential equations or congestion control algorithms) can drive practical improvements in real-world systems. Outside of academics and work, I’m always up for learning new technologies and collaborating on impactful projects.
