• Privacy Enhancing Technologies:
• Pilot Log-Level Reporting: Piloted log-level MTA data pipelines for 2 third-party partners, delivering exposure data (impressions, clicks, views) to partners’ data clean room (DCR). Implemented AES-256 encryption for partners requiring the highest security in DCRs, improving incremental attributable conversions (iAC) by 8%. • MTA GA Rollout: Led a multi-month, cross-functional rollout onboarding eight partners to row-level MTA, achieving an 11% uplift in incremental conversions and 15% revenue growth (iRev). Designed a scalable production system to process 10× more data (270M → 3B rows), conducted load testing to validate infra capacity, and built dashboards with automated alerting for 100% SLA compliance. Delivered robust scripts ensuring reliable, daily pipeline delivery and health monitoring.
• Migration and Data Warehouse Redesign (Nexus):
• Designed and developed the backend from scratch in Java and gRPC for Nexus, a new Ads Reporting data warehouse built on BigTable and GCS. Delivered faster, scalable APIs (20% latency reduction) supporting up to 50 concurrent requests (vs. 12 in legacy design) with auto-retry, pagination, and real-time metrics at multiple granularities (hourly, daily, lifetime).
• Ads Platform Insights Migration:
• 3) Reduced total cost of ownership by ~30% by migrating Ads Platform Insights from ClickHouse to PostgreSQL. Optimized BigQuery runner jobs, data retention, and storage, improving maintainability. Performed in-depth tradeoff analysis across PostgreSQL, BigTable, Citus, and Spanner to identify the most cost-effective and performant solution.
• Operational Excellence:
• 4) Improved the on-call experience by creating a detailed handbook to help backend and data engineers triage and resolve alerts efficiently.

• 1) Lead a team of 2 Junior Developers in developing a new feature called ‘Zelletag’ that allows customers and small-scale businesses to provide a customized handle to transact money in real-time. This increased the safety of P2P transactions through Zellepay by 35% and reduced several hundreds of fraudulent transactions in 2020.
• 2) Engineered OAuth2.0 based authorization using SpringBoot and Java 11 to get Zelletag recommendations, which resulted in a 32% of the customer using this feature to perform transactions within 1 month of launching the product.
• 3) Championed the effort in developing a reverse-proxy-based solution using Netflix’s Zuul to effectively route the traffic to different docker containers hosted in AWS thereby reducing the API response time by 62%. It also facilitated the easy deployment and testability of the microservices independently in higher environments.
