I work in the data field and have worked on a variety of things from * writing oozie/airflow-driven spark jobs to * making a Hadoop cluster out of 3 MacBooks that I used to perform a POC in Spain for one of our clients at their headquarters in Madrid to * write a spark-solace connector from scratch for Bharti Aitel B2B client. * being the first engineer of MongoDB India and setting up the data platform team from scratch. * Leading a team that built a streaming de-normalized platform handling high cardinality transactions at every large scale. More recently though I have been involved in Data Platforms and Data Products and the surrounding Ecosystem. Worked a little bit in building a Data-Science Platform too. Right now my focus is expanding my skill set in Data products while understanding the domain (fintech, e-commerce, OTT streaming, etc.), and involving product thinking in the Data or Data Platform as a service.
