Completed a two-month DevOps internship from 10th June 2025 to 10th August 2025, where I gained hands-on experience in DevOps practices, tools, and real-world deployment workflows. During the internship, I worked on a practical project focused on deploying a web application to a live environment using DevOps tools and methodologies.
I was responsible for setting up the complete DevOps lifecycle, starting from source code management to deployment. The project involved using Git and GitHub for version control, Linux for server operations, and CI/CD pipelines to automate the build and deployment process. I learned how to integrate development and operations to ensure faster, reliable, and consistent application delivery.
As part of the project, I worked on continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) concepts, automated workflows, and deployment strategies to make the web application live. I also gained exposure to cloud platforms, server configuration, and monitoring basic application performance after deployment.
This internship helped me develop a strong understanding of DevOps culture, automation, collaboration between development and operations teams, and real-time problem-solving. It significantly enhanced my technical skills and gave me practical experience in deploying and managing live web applications using DevOps tools.
