• Built and scaled the Razorpay reminders microservice from scratch currently handling more than 4000 Requests per seconds.
• Designed and built Multi Tenancy Support functionality in which processing happens on the basis of P0, P1 and P2 priorities in a asynchronous fashion, created asynchronous database writer using Kafka. It helped us achieving rigorous SLA of 50 seconds for P0 events.
• Reduced DB CPU utilization from 90% to 35% by performing Horizontal Scaling, Database Sharding and improving SQL queries.
• Designed fancy way of Authorization and fetching callback details using routes array from PostgreSQL reducing the overall onboarding time on microservice from 4 days to 0.5 day. Built reliable, scalable and secure RESTful APIs. To decrease Data access latency and increase Throughput implemented Redis cache.
• Set up relevant alerts and monitoring dashboards, integrated PagerDuty for the actionable alerts.
• Developed Unit Tests, improving the overall coverage from 0% to 81% for the whole Microservice helping in detection of critical bugs being deployed in production.
• Employed Redis for efficient caching and Database Indexing, optimizing query performance and enabling swift data retrieval even at scale.
• Integrated Devspace which Enabled Hot Reloading of application and let’s developer build, test and debug applications directly inside Kubernetes.
• Along with writing code I actively took lead in other aspects like mentoring new joiners, taking on-calls, reviewing pull requests and writing tech specs, and contributing to tech and product discussions.
• Received the Most Valuable Player award for the Outstanding performance, Speed and Dedication in work.

• Worked on revamping Appium deployment using NIX and Hashistack(Nomad-Consul-Vault).
• Written server side scripts for Appium packages in NIX and Ansible scripts to install NIX on production machines.
• Configured NGINX as a Caching Proxy Server which served pre-built packages and binaries stored in AWS S3 reducing the overall time by 98% and reducing cost by 97%.
• Setup Garbage Collection in NIX using plist(iOS) and crons(Android).
• Setup relevant alerts and Grafana dashboards to monitor overall system.
• Loadbalancing for the project has been achieved via Consul on health basis using the Round Robin policy.
• For building and managing virtual machine environments in a single workflow, setup a Multi-node cluster for Mobile-infra service using Vagrant.
• This project served as the solution to Dependency Hell, made it easier to work with multiple version of same packages.
• Received Black Belt award for Dedication, Speed and Teamwork.
