HIVE is a student run community at the University of Toronto created for Master of Information students who want to connect, collaborate, and grow together. Our mission is to foster a supportive environment where students can build meaningful professional relationships while strengthening their skills and confidence. HIVE provides opportunities for portfolio showcases, project presentations, resume feedback, and peer to peer learning experiences that complement academic study. We believe professional development is most impactful when it is collaborative. By creating space for students to share their work, exchange insights, and learn from one another, HIVE helps bridge the gap between the classroom and industry.
