I’ve spent most of my career at Cemex—nearly 30 years—driven by a simple idea: that operational excellence and strong teams go hand in hand. Today, I have the privilege of leading this company as CEO, working alongside people who care deeply about doing things right and delivering lasting positive impact. Over the years, I’ve led Cemex operations around the globe—from the Mediterranean to South, Central America, and the Caribbean, and most recently, the U.S.—and across core areas like strategic planning, HR, and ready-mix concrete. Each role has shaped how I strive to lead: with clarity, efficiency, and a strong focus on people. I studied management at San Pablo CEU University in Spain, earned a law degree from Universidad Complutense de Madrid, and later pursued my MBA at MIT. That mix of business, law, and global experience informs how I think about leadership and long-term value. I’m fully dedicated to continuing Cemex’s legacy of building a better future.
