• Apex provide key strategic capabilities that are used across BAE Systems and partner companies. In this role, I was responsible for a major transformation programme that will require the transition of key network capability and infrastructure from the primary management site in New Malden to the site in Christchurch and regular interfacing with the other project teams to ensure a cohesive handover.

• Delivery of a software toolset design required to automate a large part of the Combat System Release (CSR) process. The Combat System (CS) consists of a number of complex systems in a virtualised environment, the software toolset enabled updates to the CS to be delivered in half the time and with much greater reliability.
• Technical lead on a major bid programme to upgrade an existing product used to secure the integrity and confidentiality of data on our platforms to be used on the new Type 26 Global Combat Ship

• Generated and managed new business contract with Vodafone in order to test their new HD Voice calling capability.

• I was one of 5 interns chosen from over 100,000 applicants to work at the Red Bull Racing Factory in Milton Keynes during the summer. It was an unforgettable experience to be a part of the Red Bull team. One of the highlights for me of the summer was Mark Weber's Grand Prix win at Silverstone.
• Working as part of the Electronics Group, my main responsibility was to design a test rig for one of the key components on the F1 Race Car, containing a number of different test units. It was fully automated using National Instruments Labview software. The development of this test rig enabled the team to test the components much faster and more comprehensively in house, saving valuable resources.

• Involved in methodical and well thought out hardware testing in order to assure performance for the customer of a number of flight simulators.
• Able to increase user experience of the flight simulators by enhancing the performance of the aircraft to better simulate real aircraft.
• Developed a marketing plan to represent QinetiQ at the international DSEi event in London. This involved coordinating which products to showcase, and collaborating with many different areas of the business.
