• As the Manager of Digital Development, I direct all the development efforts for the agency. Being in the Marketing and Advertisement industry, most projects are heavier in the front end side, however some involve back end development as well.
• My responsibilities involve selecting and working with different vendors and partners during the development process. Architecting and creating solutions for projects, as well as leading the team into implementing the best routes possible within the timelines and budgets. Moreover, I work as a link between the creative department and the developers, ensuring that the designs are executed as envisioned and translating the technological limitations so the creative is adjusted accordingly.
• To that purpose, during the creative process, I get involved to explore the feasibility of the ideas and to come up with solutions to technology limitations.
• Before the development starts, I play a role assessing the resources needed in terms of technologies and skills, and estimating the budgets and timelines to execute the creative ideas. This is a stage where I work very closely with the production team and our different development partners to define the best proposal to bring to the client.
• Under my supervision it's also the Quality Assurance department that closes the circle between our creative and the development vendor.
• Also, I've been working in creating an in house development team, leading the interviewing and selection process.
• Within the time at Zubi I've worked in the development of standard display banners, rich media banners, Facebook tabs, Facebook apps, mobile apps for iOS and Android, sweepstakes, etc.
• The most important brands we work with on daily basis are: Ford, Chase, SCJ, Walgreen, American Airlines, and more recently SunnyD and Dunkin Donuts. Some of the digital work for these brands has won awards in the latest Addy's edition.

• As Manager of Interactive Development for the OLA (Online Advertising) Production Team, responsibilities include:
• Estimating cost and development timelines for different level of complexity projects. This includes kicking off creative with internal design teams, other agencies and final clients, to ensure the feasibility, set the correct expectations, plan a work approach, providing solutions to creative ideas, and assessing the required resources. This includes research of new technologies to provide engaging and cutting edge solutions to the clients.
• Also, receiving requests for production from the studio project managers and allocating work to different developers depending on their skill set and the complexity of the work.
• Overseeing the progress of the work as well as the approach taken by the developer and controlling the quality development wise. This involves planning solutions to problems when the development team runs into roadblocks.
• Last, but not least, finding new talent, training and guiding junior developers to ensure their growth.
• Under my supervision is the onshore development team as well as the offshore India team.
• The work we produce in the OLA team includes: Standard and Rich Media online ads, landing pages, microsites, interactive experiences, sweepstakes, games, Facebook apps and tabs, etc.
• Along my team at SapientNitro, I've worked with many different brands like: Sprint, Mars, Chrysler, Travelers, Cigna, Coke, Uniliver, Regions, Citi Bank, Celebrity, etc.

• Full website creation and maintenance, including XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, MySQL, Flash.
• Developed a Writeboard application using PHP/MySQL, JavaScript, XHTML, CSS (including AJAX features). The app allowed visitors to register, create Writeboards and share them with other users. All document editing done via AJAX..
• Developed a Dashboard application fully integrated with the Writeboard application. This site allowed users to register or use the same registration from the Writeboard site. Developed using the same technologies and all data between client and server was sent using AJAX. On this site you could create projects, milestones, tasks, and Writeboards.
• Developed an AJAX library utilized by both the Writeboard and Dashboard projects. Created a class to create AJAX request objects, send and receive information, and handle errors. In contrast with other popular AJAX libraries, this one does not implement specific functions, just transfer of information and error handling, making it light weight.
• Developed an Image host site with CMS using PHP/MySQL for the server side, and XHTML, CSS and JavaScript (including AJAX). A front end was developed for users to register (or not) and upload images, share links or publish them in blogs and forums. The software included an IP detection system, so users from certain regions would be the only ones that could earn points from uploading. Points could be used as credit to buy in the online store. The back end permitted user administration, file uploads.
• Developed Slider Java Script control. This reusable control receives several parameters to modify its behavior and its appearance. It was developed to be integrated into YUI (Yahoo UI) and update via AJAX.
• Developed Calendar Java Script control to be used to book events.

• Flash web site about Futurisms. This is a web site fully developed in Flash (Action Script 2). Brings a stylish design to the web, with articles, galleries, etc.
• Digital Art expositions catalog. Developed using Adobe Flash (Action Script 3), brings to life full multimedia contents: images, sounds, video. This has a entire set of modified controls, from the UI.
• Various Artists portfolios to show their work. Developed using Adobe Flash (Action Script 2 and 3)
• Small games (quiz and boards games, like casseto o sokoban). Including simple animations. Developed using Adobe Flash (Action Script 2 and 3)
