• Developed the idea for and successfully created a team that could focus on security automation research on the premise that security automation was not talked about enough and we had a chance to make a difference.

• Created Tines Tinkerer, a natural language AI workflow creation tool. A top CEO priority, I coordinated a team that included no software engineers and minimal artificial intelligence knowledge to create a web based workflow generation tool using RAG in less than three weeks and ahead of deadline.

• Led initiatives for professional services, training, certification, and technical content based marketing.
• Developed the framework for delivering professional services through outcome based engagements. This general framework is still in use three years later. Created all legal documents to provide services to customers. Recruited, hired, and mentored a leader to run the professional services organization long term. Professional services are tied to over $10M ARR as of 2024 and were a critical factor in closing the most important opportunities in the company.

• Refreshed the technical training curriculum from an unorganized and adhoc offering to one tied to a multi-tiered offering that results in technical certification. There are now over 500 certified users of Tines.
• Drove product awareness through content marketing tied to the release of the Tines Library, an open repository of automation workflow ideas. Drove the Library from around 30 automation workflows to over 200 in a quarter. Everyday there was a new social media post on how to utilize one of the new workflows which resulted in tens of thousands of impressions with many customer anecdotes mentioning they chose Tines because the Library was a key differentiator.

• First North American based technical post-sales resource focused on onboarding and enablement. Helped grow the function from less than $1M ARR to over $15M.
• In working with customers, led development on requested solutions like seamless AWS authentication, on-premises connectivity tunnels, and the Tines Terraform provider. Tines Tunnels and Terraform provider are purchasable add-ons and Tunnels are included in over 30% of all new deals.
• In a sales capacity, negotiated the first reseller agreement for the company which was used to bring on the first customer in the oil and gas industry.

• Provided expert support in migrating servers and applications from legacy networks to new data center networks with minimal downtime.
