  • As an AI Agent Builder Intern, I explored AI agent design and deployment on NeuralSeek’s mAIstro platform. Over six weeks, I completed NeuralSeek’s Level 1–3 certifications, engaged in live technical training and strategic AI workshops, and collaborated with peers in group projects.
  • My capstone project was the Biography Summary AI Agent — an agent that retrieves verified facts and generates consistent profiles within seconds. This work taught me how multi-node agent architecture (text, data, LLM nodes) can scale to real-world applications like onboarding, directories, and organizational visibility.

  • I take pride in my ability to quickly grasp new concepts and adapt to different responsibilities. During my second month at QAI, I successfully optimized the label creation process, streamlining efficiency and accuracy.
  • Recognizing inefficiencies in data management, I also took the initiative to design and implement an SQLite database for managing pallet inventory. It demonstrates how skills can be applied effectively in any role with a problem-solving mindset.
  • While working at QAI, I further developed my Excel skills by taking the initiative to solve a file categorization challenge. Since Python wasn’t a common tool and required special permission to install, I used Excel and macro coding to create automated workflows. This allowed me to efficiently categorize files based on their names (e.g., CCAC1290, CCA1809, CAC20198). This experience not only highlights my problem-solving abilities and adaptability but also reflects my growth in leveraging Excel as a powerful tool.
  • My responsibilities include data entry, quality control, validation, scan/over-size scan, statistics (utilizing Excel, including pivot tables, functions, and macro coding), manifest and label preparation (using Excel and Word, including mail-merge), inventory tracking, and effective communication within a team environment.

Career transition

Jul 2017Feb 2023 · 5 yrs 7 mos · U.S.

  • In 2017, I made the decision to leave my role as a Senior Engineer at the Meteorological Bureau in my home country to move to the U.S. for a family reunion. During this transitional period, I was not eligible for employment, so I utilized the time to focus on self-improvement and personal growth.
  • I began learning English through Project Literacy (PL) at the Howard County Library System and volunteered at the Howard County Aging Office. My dedication earned me the Superior Attendance Honor from PL, and I successfully passed the TOEFL iBT with a score of 108/120, which opened the door for my admission to the Master’s program in Computer Science at Georgia Tech.
  • During my career break, I took the initiative to acquire new skills, including learning coding and earning the SAS certificate within just one month of self-study. I also strengthened my ability to multi-task by balancing family responsibilities, graduate studies, self-learning, and raising my young children. This experience sharpened my time management, adaptability, and commitment to lifelong learning.

  • During my seven years as a professional in the meteorological field, I achieved the senior title within five years through hard work and dedication. I served as the Chief of the Weather Forecasting Team and the Lead of the Weather Research Team, with responsibilities including numerical model localization, data mining and visualization, statistical analysis, staff training, management, and supervision. As the leader of the municipal research team and a contributing member of the provincial research team, I demonstrated strong leadership, teamwork, and multitasking skills.
  • Throughout my career in meteorology, I received 14 awards recognizing my contributions to research, innovation, and service excellence. These include multiple Annual Meteorological Service Awards (1st, 2nd, and 3rd places), Scientific & Technical Awards (2nd and 3rd places), and Chinese Municipal Natural Science Paper Awards (2nd and 3rd places). Additionally, I earned two Best Paper Awards at the Meteorological Science and Technology Forum of the Yangtze River Delta City Clusters and an Excellent Rating in Annual Performance Appraisal.
