• Project Management group within IBM caters to project management & support work from different company verticals. My responsibilities included managing multiple concurrent projects and ensuring the support required for execution and completion of projects for all the nine regions of Americas. Managing a Virtual team spread across the world. Had to evaluate and present the key matrixes, KPIs, dashboard and scorecard to all stakeholders. Further, it included solution finalization for the projects assigned and get the approvals / buy-in from the customer & then creating & implementing successful project plans by involving different teams and stakeholders.
• Achievements :
• Successfully managed Panasonic US account. ( T&M billing of 5 million USD per year )

• Wireless Presentation Gateway product enables learners and educators to wirelessly connect and interact with each other. It was started in collaboration with wow vision Pte, Singapore & then sold to Kramer Electronics Ltd. My work included all product management work including but not limited to defining the product roadmap, product variants and work on the execution strategy. Design and development including product BOM, costing & marketing support - Gtm , Products testing, certification, Functional UI design with a creative designer, manuals & brochures.
• Achievements
• Wireless Presentation Gateway: Commercially launched the product in the market. (Commercially branded as : proVEOS & Collab8 – sold by Kramer )

• Product Engineering Division - horizontal within Infosys catering to work from different industry verticals. PE Services span the entire life cycle of a product, from conceptualization through product architecture, design, development, product enhancement, maintenance, test/validation, to product support and go to market services. I was rresponsible for on time & in full delivery which includes both technical & client relationship management. Engagement Lead for clients of the EMIA Service line. Client facing & exploring opportunities to grow the account. Involves all aspects of engagement management (Resourcing, communication, estimation, risk management etc.) My work included Pre-Sales work - Responding to RFI, making proposals and activities including pitch, presentations & POC.
• Achievements
• Started TomTom account and grew it multifold.
• Pursued proposals to final stages for Tmobile (PoC on Googles Android platform), France Telecom (Ambient frequency detection), TomTom (GPS device) and Apis Devices (Thermal printers).Successful in getting contracts – engagements from TomTom & French Telecom. POC medical device mfg. for VnV to file FDA 510k.

• Nomadik application processors are specifically designed for mobile devices, offering multimedia functionality with MMDSPs (graphics/ audio/ video) along with ARM core for simplified software development and scalability for diverse and future multimedia applications. The project involved building of ref. platform based on 8815 and previous generation Nomadic 8810. Was handling all technical requests and Manage deliveries to the customers (LG/ Nokia) and sub-contractors (electrobit/ wipro/ teleca).Debugging and Defect management with internal teams, customer (LG) and 3rd parties.
• Achievements
• MOBILE PHONE : First Nomadik Symbian / 8810 product delivery to LG (Commercially branded as – LG KS-10.)
• MOBILE PHONE : Successful customer lead project for Nokia was built on 8815. (Commercially branded as – Nokia N96
• WID business unit worked on the development of DSL equipment (cpe – gateway modem) and ADSL CO chipset & reference platform. This program was managed from Israel site & cpe from Belgium (off shoot of Alcatel Microelectronics bought ST). My responsibility was to technically lead a team of software/ system engineers for development of new features and design and architect the device software. Plan, schedule & manage deliveries from India team.
• Achievements
• IP DSLAM : Tool chain (Assembler, compiler & linker) for arp core delivered to Cisco successfully.
• DSL modem & Router: CPE Solution developed and deployed for China market thru Alcatel Shanghai Bells.

• The project was for a European customer Telefonica . The scope of the project was to enhance the MMI for a higher end GSM mobile handset. The said MMI included the complete UI design, embedded applications, device drivers (LCD/ polyphonic etc.) and Integration of the third party protocol stack library and browser lib and the MMI.

• MOBILE PHONE : Commercially launched product from Telefonica (Commercially branded as TSM5i)

• Company: HFCL- IISc Research Program
• Bandwidth Manager manages the TCP traffic (2 patents filled for the algorithm used). The IP s for this product where developed at IISc Bangalore under Prof. Anurag Kumar. This was packaged with applications to productize it. Owned the product for commercial deployment.
• Achievements
• BANDWIDTH MANAGER: Productized the TCP bandwidth manager on an Intel ix86 platform with Compaq pci. Deployed at multiple pop locations.
• IP PBX / Router
• Company: HFCL (R&D Division).
• IP PBX - a chase based, native IP PBX; designed for enterprise market. I was responsible for the high level requirements for data sub system card, issue of RFI for the same and further evaluation and discussions with 3 parties. Translated specific MRD points (GR specs) into technical design features. Detailed PRD for the router card. And RFIs for router card (software) and analysis of the proposals received.
• Achievements
• SIP IPBX : A next generation product but was not commercially launched due to non-technical reasons.

• Company: Net Brahma Technologies (bought by Metro Optix), Bangalore
• Multi Protocol Label Switching is a product built from scratch to be a part of BGP-MPLS VPN framework. I worked on it for the full development cycle of the product and was actively involved in the high level design of the complete stack that included LDP, CR-LDPv, RSVP –TE ( Control Plane ) on ATM, Ethernet and Frame Relay ( Forwarding plane ) (full implementation of RFCs 3031, 3032, 3034, 3035, 3036, 3037, 3038 ) . Management interface was independently designed and coded by me.
• Achievements
• MPLS Router: A complete port was done for ZebOS ( IPinfusion )& the stack was used in metro optix enterprise grade routers.
