Kaustav Roy — Head of Design

Hi, I’m Kaustav Roy — a UI/UX designer driven by curiosity, empathy, and a deep love for storytelling through design. With over 3.5 years of experience across startups and enterprise environments, I specialize in crafting human-centered digital experiences that not only look good but feel right. Currently, I’m a Design Consultant at Fractal Analytics, where I work at the intersection of AI, data, and design to build products that are both intelligent and intuitive. Before this, I designed enterprise platforms at Eugenie.ai, where one of my designs made it all the way to Google I/O 2024. My work often blends UX strategy, interaction design, and behavioral science, with recent focus areas including agentic AI systems, decision support interfaces, and tools for knowledge work. Whether it’s a scrappy hackathon prototype or an enterprise-grade platform, I believe design should empower, inform, and inspire. Outside of work, I’m deeply rooted in Bengali culture, an occasional photographer, and a mentor to aspiring designers. I’m also exploring HCI research and actively looking to pursue a master’s program in Human-Computer Interaction to push my practice to new frontiers. Let’s build something meaningful.
