I’ve developed project on creating custom visuals with React Typescript to build violin plot graphs dynamically based on dragging and dropping fields from Power BI.
Tools and Technologies used: Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, Microsoft Excel, Visual Studio Code, React, Javascript, Typescript, Teams, Power BI Automate, Power bI Pipelines, Azure Devops, Outlook and many more.. Power BI comes with many out-of-the box visuals. These Power BI visuals are available in the visualization pane of both Power BI Desktop and Power BI service, and can be used for creating and editing Power BI content. We can also develop our own custom Power BI visual, to be used by us, our organization, or the entire Power BI community. Power BI visuals come in .pbiviz file packages that include code for rendering the data served to them. Anyone can create a custom visual and package it as a .pbiviz file that can then be imported into a Power BI report.Worked on the violin plot. Violin Plot is a hybrid of a box plot and a kernel density plot, which shows peaks in the data. It is used to visualize the distribution of numerical data. Unlike a box plot that can only show summary statistics, violin plots depict summary statistics and the density of each variable. Also added some animation to the visuals.
