I’m an experienced senior technology leader, public speaker, and executive consultant specialising in the architecture of intelligent, goal oriented systems. My background spans full stack software engineering, big data, data science, applied AI, DevOps, and enterprise scale architecture. The amount of buzzwords I've collected is staggering. I build and lead high performing engineering, data science, and consulting teams, partnering with C-level executives worldwide to design and build the right solution that solves the actual business need. We deliver systems that don't just report on the present but act on the future, guiding and/or making proactive decisions to drive growth, adoption, efficiency, and measurable business impact (or put another way, money). In short, we try to build things that (heaven forbid) actually work and do something actually useful. My experience spans CX/EX, Asset & Wealth Management, Banking, Insurance, Healthcare, Manufacturing, the Public Sector and more. Ultimately I'm focused on transforming technology and data into a durable, strategic advantage (whatever that may be). I’ve spoken at AWS re:Invent, the Digital Leadership Forum, and EventHuddle, exploring topics such as governance for autonomous systems, applied machine learning, and creativity in code. I’m passionate about demystifying complex AI concepts and bridging the gap between cutting-edge innovation and tangible business value. Or, put another way, 'the art of the possible' vs. 'the reality of the quarterly budget'. I'd call myself curious and future-focused (so I have), and I’m driven by the transformative potential of AI agents and intelligent automation to reshape how we live and work. I believe success is built on a new model of collaboration, one that augments exceptional human teams with autonomous AI systems used responsibly to achieve extraordinary things together.
