• In my talk titled, OpenAI Whisper and it’s amazing power to do finetuning presented on April 15, 2023 in Life Long Learning Institute, Singapore.
• I talked about what is OpenAI whisper and some of it’s amazing feature. I highlighted the importance of fine-tuning Whisper in low-resource language like Malayalam which is able to get almost 90% accuracy compared to -10% accuracy of OpenAI whisper model weights.
• The results where calculated with a new github project called malayalam_asr_benchmarking created by me.

• Enhanced subtitling solution accuracy by 10% for Mediacorp on benchmarking for Mediacorp, Singapore using Speech recognition and generative AI techniques with OpenAI API and langchain, securing a 600,000 SGD contract.
• Using Generative AI for enhancing subtitling accuracy for parliament transcriptions in Singapore and improved face-detection of MPs.
• Developed and delivered 25+ AI microservices, including LLMs (Falcon, Llama2) and CV models (GLIP, PaddleOCR) deployed on Kubernetes for a defense industry client, generating 300,000 SGD annually.
• Build tools for evaluating microservices and improved internal MLops tool for making ML development faster

• 1. Worked on a live project to keep track of People and count the no of people coming in KSUM's Future Lab. We used Dlib's face recognition library to find the number of people coming every day and removed ambiguities associated with multiple persons being detected. And used Retinanet to identify the head count at a time.
