• Here are my recent projects:
• 1. Request Mapping Project
• Designed & developed a request mapping solution from scratch. Requesting systems provide printing orders using xml / csv / flat files. Our job was to map the input data, convert it to a standard format & push it to the next server for processing. This app had a ui written in Angular & backend in Spring Boot, MongoDB, Kafka etc.
• 2. D3 Visualisation Project.
• Developed an application from scratch using Angular 4 & D3.js . The app was supposed to replace Tableau charts to cut down client's licensing cost by using open source technology.

• Worked as a Software Engineer at Clairvoyant. I was involved in all phases of the project (SDLC) - design, development, deployment, documentation and testing in agile environment.
• Project 1:
• The application was supposed to scrape data from thousands of sources (webpages, PDFs, XMLs etc.)
• Created the application from scratch. Designed, and completed the project single handedly. Worked with the client to understand their needs.
• Wrote web crawlers / scrapers for collecting data from thousands of webpages / documents from the internet.
• Captured the data in the structured format, and stored in various sources (Excel and MySQL database) for later analysis.
• Technologies: Python3 (BeautifulSoup, Scrapy, OpenPyXL, PyMySQL, LXML), MySQL, Git
• Project 2:
• The web application was designed to support different methods to create a booklet for policy documents in different languages. The application used to take rules as input, and push the information in JSON format to another server which then created a PDF out of the given information and print it.
• It was built using Spring Boot, Angular, and MySQL.
• I worked on the back end of this application.
• I was responsible for creation of Rest APIs, definition of new database table structures, JSON request/response structure, developing excel file parsing functionality using Apache POI, writing unit tests, testing REST Apis on Postman etc.
• I was also responsible for writing complex SQL queries to retrieve the data from the server.
• Received an award for writing bug free code.

• Worked as a Software Engineer at Persistent. Involved in all phases of the project (SDLC) - design, development, deployment, documentation and testing in agile environment.
• Project 1:
• It was an Android surveying application. It helped patients to submit data to the doctors. Doctors could see the data on a dashboard, to better understand the medical situation of patients.
• The application has functionality of adding new surveys through the portal, and the android application. The application was HIPAA compliant.
• I primarily worked on the Android side of the project. I added the ability of sending of scheduled surveys to the device. I also worked on automated testing of that application using Espresso framework.
• Reduced manual work of manipulating csv files for Salesforce upload by writing a utility.
• Technologies: Java, Android, Salesforce, Espresso, JUnit
• Project 2:
• It was a medical record keeping application. It could store the medical records of patients, and was being used in one of the big hospitals in USA.
• It was developed in VB with MS-SQL as the database technology.
• I helped the team to migrate legacy VB code to .NET.
• I was also responsible for designing the user interface of the application, and writing complex SQL queries to retrieve the data.
• Received an award for helping the team to complete the project in short time.

• The application was supposed to send push notifications to the registered client handsets (Android / Windows Phone).
• We developed a POC for Mithi's flagship email software.
• Led a team of four for the BE project.
• I was responsible for the development of an Android application, and the PHP backend.
• We wrote a server side code for sending push notifications to the registered users, and mobile applications for respective platforms (Android and Windows Phone).
