• Responsible for the end to end flow of fund accounting activities carried out through our user facing web application.
• A key member for ensuring issuance of accurate and precise data to the investors.
• Implemented a data reconciliation feature for performing reconciliation of a fund’s capital, profit and expenses during every accounting stage of a fund. The reconciliation was performed between the data stored in the database with that pulled from a central external module.
• Implemented a feature for overriding the default interest rate percentage during financial transactions. The feature allowed the user to input an interest rate percentage through the UI which is then used to wire out money, instead of the fund’s default configured interest rate.
• Worked on changing a fund’s benchmark index and hence ensuring that all its accounting is done as per the new benchmark.
• Resolved critical production bugs directly affecting thousands of investors.
