• Team: Facebook Ads - Quality & Supply (BCR).
• Improved accuracy of a deep neural network ranking model, for increasing relevancy of Ads by 7% on FB Watch and Video, through training data from user surveys and other user signals. Followed by deploying the model into production, as part of the Ad retrieval and ranking process.
• Drove multiple projects for personalization of user ad-load, using ML algorithms such as random forests, gradient boosted trees. These projects directly control the ad experience on FB Stories and Watch with billions of daily active users, generating an additional revenue of ∼0.2 billion dollars within the next couple of quarters.
• Created several optimized ETL data pipelines using Python and SQL, deployed on cloud (similar to Apache Airflow), for aggregating and processing terabytes of user data.
• I gained experience in end-to-end project execution, leading to a diverse skillset in - project planning & design, data collection and processing, generating data pipelines, model training and optimization, A/B testing model performance on real-time users in production, large scale model deployment.
