• As an apprentice with Nvidia, I'm on the front lines of advancing artificial intelligence, playing a direct role in teaching our self-driving vehicles how to navigate the complexities of the real world. My work is essential for building the datasets that power safer and more reliable autonomous systems.
• My key contributions include:
• I perform deep-dive analysis of driving footage to evaluate and interpret the AI's performance in a wide range of traffic scenarios.
• I create detailed annotations and qualitative reports that explain the context behind the AI's decisions. This curated data serves as a critical training tool for our Large Language Model (LLM), teaching it to handle complex road situations with greater nuance.
• A major part of my role involves meticulously cataloging complex roadway elements like multi-lane intersections and traffic signals, especially in scenarios where they are partially obstructed or difficult to see.
• By enriching our datasets with this vital information, I help enhance the AI's environmental perception and situational awareness, directly contributing to the safety and reliability of our self-driving technology.
