• Worked on analysis of stock clearance data and developed a machine learning based model for predicting the demand of an item put on clearance, for the entire duration of the clearance period. The model predicted the demand of the items for various markdown points which can then be used to get the optimal markdown schedule for each item on clearance to maximize revenue.

• Worked on a machine learning based project aiming to predict the claim amount incurred to an insurance company based on data provided by a company. Analysed the data by various data analysis techniques in order to reduce dimensionality to design a predictive model for it. The problem was a regression problem but took a classification approach towards it. Accomplished predicting the range of incurred amount in which a particular insurance case will fall by applying artificial neural networks.
