I love taking on challenges that others may see as impossible problems. Often, I jump head first into it before realizing what I have gotten myself into. I have faced a lot of “No”s and innumerable failures through my long career. On three occasions, I’ve helped scale businesses from early stages to $500M in revenue. All by showing dogged commitment and perseverance and never settling down even when it’s a “no”. Early in my career, I was asked to document a massive telecom software system. Instead, I led the development of an AI program that reverse-engineered the entire codebase and created visualizations … well before these tools even existed. That project didn’t just transform our team; it showed me the power of thinking differently. Today, as CEO and co-founder of XTRIUM, I’m applying this same approach to revolutionize materials innovation with an incredibly accomplished team that I am proud to work with. We’re building a B2B AI platform that serves as the intelligence layer for materials, helping companies make material decisions quickly, discover new applications for materials, generate revenue streams, and eliminate waste. I’ve spent 30+ years building and scaling technology businesses — from pioneering AI research in the early ’90s to developing new markets to leading deep-tech startups today. My career bridges wireless networks, consulting, enterprise AI, and advanced materials, with one throughline: turning bold ideas into real-world impact. From Nortel to Tata Group to 2 AI startups I cofounded as CTO, I’ve built global teams across continents and brought technology and AI to real business problems. All with deep technical skills + strategic market instincts + a global perspective from working in dozens of countries. I’m passionate about using technology to create a better future … one imapctful solution at a time. Beyond startups, I advise global companies and speak on how to build responsible AI solutions, agentic AI, and business transformation.
