• Led the scale testing initiative for Platform9 Managed Kubernetes, identifying bottlenecks in both in-house and third-party services, establishing baseline performance and latency metrics under load, and implementing optimizations to enhance performance at scale.
• Expanded PMK product support to run on Rocky Linux 9.2, Ubuntu 22.04, and RHEL 8.6, conducting rigorous testing to ensure compatibility and stability.
• Spearheaded enhancements to the pf9ctl CLI, a Golang-based tool for managing the lifecycle of Kubernetes clusters on PMK, improving functionalities for node onboarding, cluster creation, upgrades, scaling, and other operations.
• Expanded Kubernetes version support for PMK, added support for newer versions of cluster add-ons (including MetalLB and monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana), and improved maintainability.
• Automated security updates by integrating Trivy with TeamCity to scan container images used in PMK, identifying and addressing 50+ critical vulnerabilities.
• Implemented automation for Kube Bench scanning of PMK clusters, generating security compliance reports for improved monitoring and remediation
• Planned sprints, conducted code reviews, fixed bugs, and collaborated with the Customer Support team to resolve escalations and incidents.
