• 1. Saint-Gobain India Pvt Ltd – Glass Business (Chennai, India) – Developed lean logistics capabilities by converting packed glass to naked glass by inventing a new design of frames. The project required a breakthrough in primarily two areas of supply-chain: Packaging in the glass industry and transportation in metal frames. Comprehensive customer surveys pan-India on their ordering pattern; unloading & storage capabilities and redistribution contributed to the successful completion of the project
• 2. Abrasives Business, Grindwell Norton Ltd (Bengaluru, India) – A comprehensive study of GNO’s product portfolio completeness & chain margins, relevance of existing Norton channel & Norton Privilege Club (NPC) and efficacy of dealer network for the industrial retail business.
• 3. Delegation Treasury, Saint-Gobain India Delegation (Mumbai, India) – A comparative study of transaction banking solutions available in the market vis-à-vis solutions within SG group for a new transaction banking RFP; Major criteria included innovative & futuristic solutions, risk management capabilities, fraud mitigation tools, scalability, ease of operations, network strength, cost-efficiency etc.
