• Automatic Vertical Scaling: Owned end-to-end discovery and eventually freeing up ~28% CPU cores, saving ~$1 Million per year by rolling out automatic vertical scaling for entire Uber clusters, using workflows in GoLang.
• Optimisation: Saved ~$100k by saving 9% of the total disk space consumed across all MySQL instances by introducing MySQL Optimize workflow. Rolled out across the entire Uber cluster with 0 downtime.
• Benchmarking: Led a team of 2 people to automate MySQL Sysbench and YCSB benchmarking, end-to-end from cluster instantiation, health checks, benchmarking and comparison. It saves ~2 weeks of developer time for each test, cumulating to about ~3 months of developer time in a year.

• Customer Alerting: Established a new channel to redirect and notify customers directly, instead of our team, about cluster misuse, easing the overburdened on-call load by ~26% every week while preventing major incidents by suggesting preemptive actions.

• Semantic automated the Due Diligence process. It’s a SaaS which reduces 7 days into 3 hours. It eliminated human effort.

• An android based PoS to manage all restaurant operations from handling orders, booking tables, menus, printing bills and kitchen tickets and overall statistical reporting.
• Reports
• An android app in Base ecosystem which visually summarized the restaurant’s performance with data and graphs.
• Migrated the whole app from an SQL database to support Realm DB. Redesigned the Reports app.
• Secured the data stored locally with encryption.
• Optimized the queries to run faster in both offline and online mode making the app 30x - 40x faster.
• Built a consumer version of the Reports app for restaurant owners called 'BaseIQ'.
• Printer SDK
• Printer SDK was a support library used by all of the apps which needed to print using a thermal printer.
• Reverse engineered the entire EPSON printer library by decoding binary transmissions. It made printing 4000x 5000x faster and 100% reliable.
• Added support for Arabic for Dubai outlets. Added support for other fonts, scripts and typefaces.
• Made the printing customizable from the client end where they could change how their bills looked.
