Since 2006, Michael has been writing the blog “Six Kids and a Full Time Job,” on topics ranging from politics to technology, Judaism, and macroeconomics. He was a contributor to TheMarker, a Hebrew-language daily business newspaper, and is the author of the “Hummus Manifesto,” the seminal piece on Israel’s innovation scene. Michael has also published numerous books, including "The Tree of Life and Prosperity," "The Vanishing Jew," and "Ben Barukh." He has published three additional books in Hebrew, due for release in English in the coming years: "Everyone Can Be Moses," "Roaring Tribe" and "Milk, Honey and Uncertainty." He lectures frequently on venture capital, Israel, and entrepreneurship. In 2020, Michael established the Nevo Network, a first-of-its-kind fellowship program to elevate olim (immigrants to Israel) working in high-tech and serves as the organization’s chairman. Michael is chairman of HaShomer Hachadash and serves on the board of the non-profit organization Yeshivat Har Etzion. Michael lives in Jerusalem with his wife and eight children.
