• Led the development of the Automated deal appraisal and pricing tool (ADAPT) for AWS Fintech, automating end-to-end financial deal modelling by integrating upstream data such as usage, price and cost for various AWS services.
• Led the integration of Data Transfer deal modelling into ADAPT, starting from requirement gathering, to having High level and Low level designs, to leading a 4-member SDE team for the implementation, and user acceptance testing (UAT) collaborating through cross-time zones. Delivered modelling for ~100 deals worth $800M commitment in 5 months, saving ~510 hours annually for the finance team.
• Designed a scalable solution to automate public pricing updates, reducing operational overhead by migrating data sources to the Data Lake, Improved data accessibility and maintainability, eliminating at least 2 on-call tickets per week, saving significant troubleshooting effort.
• Implemented API-level metrics for 176 APIs, integrated with AWS CloudWatch, and created dashboards with automated alarms and notifications on threshold breaches for enhanced monitoring and faster incident response.
• Migrated legacy pipelines to AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK), enabling Full CD workflows, modernizing development processes and reducing pipeline development time by 30%. Recognized as the team’s Subject matter Expert (SME) for pipelines, deployments and migrations.
