Built Real-Time Dental Transcription with Integrated Opendental: Created a real time speech to text system and integrated with Opendental software to completely automate Dental consultations.
Implemented transformers and whisperAI to transcribe the generated speech to text. Used python to filter important details from the transcription to generate hashmaps in the format that is recognizable by Opendental software.
The opendental software runs and generates a map of the teeth with markings and data from the hashmap and provides it to an opencv model which helps dentists visualize the issue and possible cures.
Further advancements: Automating the diagnostics completely which include prescribing medicines and scheduling surgeries, thus reducing the need for a dentist in person just to diagnose to near 0.
