About

Hello, LinkedIn! My journey with computers didn’t begin early. It truly started in 11th grade, when my parents brought home our first laptop. During my first year of college, a Programming with Python class sparked my curiosity and set me on the path to computer science. Although I majored in Electronics, most of my learning came through online courses, blogs, and books. I’ve always believed in the power of self-learning. My love for data science and coding stems from my passion for Mathematics, logical thinking, and technology — and the joy of seeing their real-world impact. I’m naturally curious and constantly learning. I began my professional journey at Microsoft, joining the Word Desktop team right out of college. For 3.5 years, I contributed to the Word for Mac app, where I learned the value of clean code, telemetry, accessibility-first design, and the intricate workings of a large-scale product where every change could ripple across the entire Microsoft 365 suite. Currently, I’m part of the Kafka Connect team at Confluent, where I’m leading the end-to-end rollout of Single Message Transforms (SMTs) for Confluent Cloud. I also serve as the point of contact for the Spanner Sink and Cassandra Sink connectors. My time at Confluent has deepened my expertise in Golang, Kafka, Docker, and Kubernetes, and taught me how distributed systems come together in practice. I’ve failed many times along the way — but each failure has made me better, more reflective, and more resilient. I strongly believe in continuous learning and sharing knowledge. If my experiences can help even one person learn or grow, it’s worth sharing.
