I published a conference as well as a journal paper during my internship tenure. I worked towards understanding the impact of co-articulation in speech systems using classical machine learning techniques. I also collected an articulatory acoustic dataset on the Toda language with potential applications towards VOT changes, the effect of speaking rate and style on articulation, and labial kinematics. In addition to this, I also performed experiments on vowel-consonant vowel (VCV) sequences and words of the Toda language to study vowel space distribution and articulation across multiple speaking rates.
