About

Nicolas works as a Solution Architect @Mistral AI, supporting organisations in Luxembourg in adopting open and sovereign Generative AI solutions. His expertise spans solution design, technical discovery, Proof of Concept delivery, and full-scale AI deployment. Before joining Mistral AI, Nicolas was a Senior Data Scientist in Deloitte Luxembourg’s AI & Data team, where he worked with public and private sector clients as well as European institutions. He led and contributed to multiple Generative AI and NLP projects, taking them from early ideation stages all the way to industrialization. His experience covers text classification, information extraction, text generation (LLMs), automatic speech recognition, and the development of complete data and model pipelines. Nicolas has a background in Computer Science (BSc) and Data Science (MSc), and began his career as a Data Engineer, working on big data platforms and cloud-based data management solutions. He has a strong interest in end-to-end AI delivery, ensuring that solutions are not only well designed but also deployed reliably and used effectively in real environments.
